Day of Arrival: Welcome to Tanzania

Your 2 days Tanzania safari begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon landing, you will be greeted by our friendly guide who will take you to your hotel in Arusha Town. This day is dedicated to relaxation and preparation for the adventure ahead. Arusha, a bustling town at the foot of Mount Meru, serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. You can spend the evening exploring the town or resting at your hotel.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The first day of your 2 days Tanzania safari starts early with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Arusha. After breakfast, you will discover a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately two hours away. Known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience. You will spend the entire day on a game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and observing its abundant wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the park, providing a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tarangire. In the evening, you will head to your lodge or campsite in Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Safari

The second day of your 2 days Tanzania safari takes you to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Descending into the crater, you will experience a full day of game viewing in this unique environment. The crater is renowned for its high density of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. You will also have the chance to see hippos, hyenas, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the crater, allowing you to continue your wildlife adventure without interruption. After an exhilarating day of exploration, you will return to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day of Departure: Farewell to Tanzania

As your 2 days Tanzania safari comes to an end, we will ensure a smooth and comfortable departure. After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories you’ve made during your short but impactful journey through Tanzania’s wilderness.
